Lemmings are small rodents, made famous by the popular myth that they commit suicide by jumping off cliffs in mass numbers. Although, if the myth were true, i wouldn't blame the lemmings much for their behavior.



we can put the blame on specific people for the suicide of different concepts, beliefs, etc:

michael moore, obviously, takes the blame for the suicide of conservative ideals in america

WGA writers guild of america, you have gone on strike, for whatever reason, i do not know. but now that the almost halfway decent shows have gone off air, we are left with the scum of television. and of course, the general population follows, what the general population follows. American Gladiator. I blame you hulk hogan, for the decay of modern television.

then we have ted haggard, easily put the blame on him and the entire evangelical movement as a whole for the degradation and decay of not only christianity, but religion as a whole.

percy spenser, i blame you for societies sacrifice of nutirition and taste for time and money. btw for those of you who do not know who percy spenser is, he renowned for being the inventor of the microwave oven.

and then bush, for the decay of america as a whole. i kid, i actually put the blame society* for this, but a president is appointed simply to point fingers at.

walt disney, last but not least. YOU killed the lemmings.

An investigation in 1983 by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Brian Vallee, showed that the Disney film makers faked the entire sequence using imported lemmings (bought from Inuit children), a snow covered turntable on which a few dozen lemmings were forced to run, and literally throwing lemmings into the sea to show the alleged suicides." *So what else can we thumbtack to society? The list is absolutely endless.

-popculture - disgustingly compiled into shrines at the checkout lane of every convienent store in america.
-obesity - mcdonalds, taco bell, beer, microwaveable burritos, wtc
-decline of religious morals - adultery, theft, homecide, etc.
-school shootings - product of child neglect, whether its from the teacher, school system, parent, or selfish weapon provider (black mkt sales)
-feel free to add, but i take it that the point has been proven.


Deviant Artists: i blame the suicide of modern art on you. The focus of creating has been diverted to competition, not individual satisfaction. Does one really acheive a sense of accomplishment from making art that "looks prettier" than their neighbor? Where did the conceptual aspect disappear to? a small minority remains here in our community, and their fight remains silent, yet strong. It is never wrong to expand upon other's ideas or question those you see incomplete or incorrect (or course it's still all about one's perspective). And it doesnt matter if your techincal skills are up to par with those around you. A painting with no meaning is worthless to you, to your community. But one with true concept, itll be valuable to you for the rest of your life, whether it sparked personal epiphany, or simply moved an onlooker. An idea can never be erased, it can only be expanded upon. So what can you expand upon "pretty" other than "prettier"?
