Contest time again

As promised, and I are holding a photography contest. There will be three categories with one winner in each.

CATEGORIES
1. Time/timeless – Some ideas: Something that shows the passage of time, catch a moment in time, things that last forever, fleeting moments.
2. Flawed/flawless – Some ideas: How flaws make something more real, natural flaws, perceived perfection, flaws or perfection in human nature.
3. Originality/conformity – Some ideas: Standing out in a crowd, being deviant, be yourself, blending in, stick to the status quo, others’ expectations.

RULES
1. All entries must fall into the Photography category on deviantART.
2. All entries must be new to deviantART. This doesn’t mean that they have to be new photos, just that you can’t have uploaded them already. We will accept anything submitted on or after January 20th, 2008.
3. All entries must be original work entirely your own. You can have models, but only you can have taken the photo.
4. All entries must be unedited, aside from brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. Basically, don’t change the basic elements of the photo.
5. You may submit one entry to each category, for a maximum of three entries.

SUBMITTING
1. You can submit to either or in the form of a note (just copy-paste the link) with the title “Contest Entry”
2. In the description, please put that your piece is for the contest, with a link to one of our journals.

JUDGING
1. will choose the winner of the time/timeless category.
2. will choose the winner of the flawed/flawless category.
3. The winner of the originality/conformity category will be chosen by public vote.

PRIZES – for the winner of each category
1. Journal features in , , and ’s journals.
2. Three-month subscription.
3. If you have anything you would like to donate, please note us. You may still enter the contest even if you donate.

DEADLINE
1. Contest will close at 11:59pm March 14th, 2008.
2. Winners for the time/timeless and flawed/flawless categories will be announced March 15th, 2008.
