In November 2007, ~favocal and *SchlauesSchatzi had the idea of founding a club for all close up and macro lovers. The result is ~Close-Ups, a club we're very proud of as it already has some very nice members.

And since the club is still a little toddler, we're looking for new members to let the club grow and to give our members a bigger audience for their submissions.

If you think wow, that's something for me, then do not hesitate to send us a note with the subject 'join'. We would be happy to welcome every single new member

What else do you need to know?

How to join:
1. us
2.: Send us a note with the subject ‘join’
3.: Put our avatar either in your journal or put a link to the club in your signature
4.: Wait for a welcome message sent by one of the admins

How to submit:
1.: Send us a note with the subject ‘Submission’
2.: Give us either a link or a thumb of the picture you want to submit
3.: Wait for the upload by an admin

Rules:
Close-Ups is a club for all macro and close-up lovers. That means you can submit portrait close ups as well as macro shots from everything you fancy…flowers, rain drops, whatever.

Pictures which do not fit in to either of the groups will not be submitted. What we do not want are pictures from a group of people on a party or similar stuff.

Because we are a new club, members can submit up to 3 pictures a week. The week starts on Monday.
