reports, January 27, 2008Dawn is the Goddess of Birth and Rebirth. Death aka Lucifer was her lover. By being Death’s lover, she basically “adopted” all things that were dying and evil.
The meaning of the three tears on her left cheek is not well known, though some speculate that it was caused by all the sorrow she went through by being Death’s lover. And that it serves as a constant reminder of how Death took away her innocence. The reason that you can always only see her left eye is because it was believed that witches only cried out of their left eyes. That is how she honored the witches that served and praised her. It was Dawn’s duty to guard over all witches and to protect the earth. When the witches on earth praised her, her powers grew stronger.
When Dawn became Death’s lover, he granted her the power to travel over any plane and dimension that her heart desired.*
