Traditional Art is the beginning of it all, and as such, it's obviously a very extense and rich part of our community. The Traditional (or Trad, in dA's lingo) galleries are "...the base point for all original creativity and a collective of paintings, sculptures, graffiti, tattoo-design and mixed media. To name some of the more popular galleries." as she pointed out.

deviantART has a concentration of traditional artists that use their talent to express varied opinions, to send out a message, or simply to depict beauty (or not) through art.
