Featured Chat with Lasse Hoile!

Lasse Hoile (born 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark) is an acclaimed photographer, film-maker and graphic artist best known for his work with Steven Wilson and his projects Porcupine Tree and Blackfield.



We're delighted that Lasse has agreed to take part in a featured event on dAmn. The event will occur in #Auditorium on Friday, February 8th, 10pm UK time (See [link] for your own time zone).



This chat will be run in the same style as *MarkWilkinson's chat. Questions will be presented by a panel of specially selected, invite only participants. This is your chance to secure your invite to the event. So, if you are a fan of Lasse and his work, or have a special interest in this type of media, please visit this journal, and let us know exactly why you think you should be part of the panel.

Don't worry if you don't manage to secure an invite to be part of the panel, the event will be open for viewing by guests, and there will be a call for questions to submit to the panel in advance of the event (stay tuned to $chix0r's journals for more info).

A friendly and welcoming room for deviants aged between 13-19 that gives you a great opportunity to meet and make friends with people who are a similar age to you.


The Message Network Administration Team (MN@) regularly review channels and if your channel has been chosen, it's because you've impressed the MN@ with the way that your channel is running, providing friendly support and assistance for the community and generally being an example of excellence in terms of what we'd like to see more of on dAmn.

We interviewed the creators of these great chatrooms not only so you could learn more about the rooms, but also to help you in creating your own successful chatrooms. You can read the interviews here!

Current Thumbnail Issue

We are aware that thumbnails are not working in dAmn. Developers have been notified and we hope to have this resolved soon.

We apologize for the inconvenience and advise that no further reports are needed to the Help Desk at this time. Please see this status post for any further updates.

Reporting Unofficial Chatroom Abuse

All unofficial chat rooms are the personal creations of other deviants. The rules and regulations of these unofficial, and personally created, chat rooms are set by the founder and their moderators. Any abuse which may occur in an unofficial, private, chat rooms should be reported to that particular chat room's founder and moderators, it is their responsibilty to maintain the order of their room. If you experience extreme forms of harassment in a user created channel, please notify a member of the MN@ by joining the #MNAdmin channel.

Keep It Legal
Acting in an illegal fashion or discussion of illegal activities is not allowed. deviantART is not responsible for anything you say on dAmn or for any consequences that may arise from your words and actions. Those that break this rule will be the ones held responsible, not deviantART.

Asking for or providing assistance in obtaining pirated software or media is not permitted. Neither is the use of dAmn to circulate or distribute defamatory, obscene, sexual, or other illegal material, text, or images. The use of dAmn for chats relating to illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia is strictly prohibited and discussion or requests for help with self-mutilation or suicide will not be tolerated.

Also please note that the use of dAmn to link to external web pages that violate these rules is strictly prohibited.

• There are specific Gallery Forums in addition to the Main Forums that can be accessed from this page or by using the Categories dropdown button on the main forum page.
