Your Camera Does Not Matter!
Just about any camera, regardless of how good or bad it is, can be used to create outstanding photographs for magazine covers, winning photo contests and hanging in art galleries. The quality of a lens or camera has almost nothing do with the quality of images it can be used to produce.
Your equipment DOES NOT affect the quality of your image. The less time and effort you spend worrying about your equipment the more time and effort you can spend creating great images. The right equipment just makes it easier, faster or more convenient for you to get the results you need.
Devious Comments
Sorry but that's a complete lie.
If that was true why would Ken Rockwell bother reviewing pro bodies and lenses? And why would Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus and others bother making expensive pro lenses?
Ken Rockwell should try making a living out of taking photos instead of spending his days taking photos of his kid and posting crap like this on the internet.

Beards not bombs.
Some of those things are caused by your camera and other equipment. Some are not.
Having all the megapickels in the world, or an expensive lens are not going to make your photos "good" if you're composing them like a tourist on holiday taking snapshots.
Perhaps Ken has simply chosen his words poorly. He refers to the "quality" of images, but people take "quality" as an objective measure e.g film/sensor resolution, lens resolution, focus, bokeh, etc. Of course those things have a bearing on image quality.
Now, as to producing "good" or "interesting" photos - that is much more subjective. And can certainly be achieved with non-pro equipment. For an extreme example, look at some of the photos taken with "toy" cameras.
