In regards to the theft of work reported recently, I have provided information on how to deal with people on external websites who have copied/taken your work without permission.

The following websites (so far) have been identified as sites that contain Deviant's work without proper permission:

Photobucket

To check if your work are on these websites, simply enter your username in the search field (remember though that if the user renames your work it probably won't show up). If you find any of your work located on either of these websites (or others), DO NOT contact the person who has taken your work without permission. Instead, contact the following:

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide Yahoo!'s Copyright Agent with the following information on this online form:

1. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
2. the nature of the authorisation or relationship where it is alleged that a third party authorises the infringement by another;
3. where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site;
4. your full name, address, telephone number, and email address;
5. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law; AND
6. a statement by you, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorised to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.

1. Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or-if multiple copyrighted works are covered by this Notice-you may provide a representative list of the copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed.
2. Identify the material or link you claim is infringing (or the subject of infringing activity) and that access to which is to be disabled, including at a minimum, if applicable, the URL of the link shown on the Photobucket website where such material may be found.
3. Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
4. Include both of the following statements in the body of the Notice:
* "I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)."
* "I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
5. Provide your full legal name and your electronic or physical signature.
