Host: So, welcome back everyone. Here in the studio, we have two pretty important people tonig-

Cree *scoff*: Define ' People'.

Sergio glances back at Cree sweating a little along with the judge.

Host: O-kay. Well, here are Sergio and Cree, our hosts for the Dark Horse Tournament coming up! So how are you two doing tonight?

Sergio: Very well thanks!

Cree *sarcastically*: Never better!

Host: Good, good! So, tell us more about the tournament? Please do tell.

Sergio *pridefully*: Well, it all started from working at my repair shop. I sell and repair the finest space ships, booster packs, and more. However, I tend to get hassled by the time.

Host: How?

Cree *laughing*: By the silliest creatures ever. By humans with super powers, gear wizards, techno-slaves, space monsters, frog princes, bear carrying unicorns, you name it. HAHA!

Sergio *annoyed*: Who was telling the story here?

Cree: What, you wanna tell your downfalls as a grease monkey?

Sergio: GREASE MONKEY!? I’m an engineer you little-

Host: Okay, cool it. *forces out a laugh* So, after getting hassled, you....

Sergio: * calming down* Well, at first, like any other hard working business man, I paid to other super-powered guys to keep my shop safe. And have you seen the rates they charge?! So I had an idea—

Cree *quickly*: In which my father found interested and now he funds it. Okay, storytime over. Let's go and start-

Sergio: Hey, I’m not done yet! Anyway, the idea was to help thin out some of these ego trips by creating a huge tournament that grabs individuals from all over space and time! Some of these guys are pretty crazy; like this one girl that creates living paper and one of those Germish; a rare being that relies solely on psychic powers. There is also a cute alien girl too. Maybe we will see more of those soon.

Host: Nice...very nice....

Cree *haughty*: Also we hope to see some real off-match tensions as well. It isn't like we will keep them as prisoners when they are not fighting. Think of all the friendships that are crushed when they face in battle. Imagine all the enemies made too. *laughs*

Host: This is turning into a very interesting battle here. So, I take it both of you share the management of this tournament, right?

Cree: Not quite.... Sergio is only a vice. I keep things running in order while Sergio won't stop running around-

Sergio: Vice Director?! I don’t think so. Your Dad specifically said for us to Work It Out.

Cree: That IS how I worked it out. Also, be careful what you say. I can cut the funding at any time. Did you forget that it’s my Father’s investment? The very same investment I was sent to look over. He wouldn’t want some workaholic chicken running, snot-nosed grease-monkey to run something as important as this. So be a good monkey and stick to grunt work and collecting royalties.

Host *laughing*: Apparently it's getting out of hand. COMMERCIAL BREAK!

Sergio: Now look at what you did; you screwed the interview up!

Cree: ME?! You’re the one wh--

Right! The Dark Horse Tournament (DHT for short) is an Original Character Battle Contest brought to you by ~gatogirl12345 and *Aikin. The contest is open to any medium so you may create your entries any way you feel like. If writing suits you, go ahead! If you like comics, go for it! If you have something else in mind, we would love to see it. We also have the idea that characters should progress and have their stories. This makes a great opportunity to interpret other people’s characters and improve in your medium(s) of choice. Not only that, but you get to thump some heads too!
