Photographers and artists alike welcome! (And anyone who likes to Party)

Hard as it may be to believe our quaint tight knit community of Unknown Photographers ([link]) is nearing its 1 year birthday on February 11th! And as many of you know to make this occasion even better we have also recently been featured in dAmn!
Loyal contributing members is what has gotten here and we want to take this time to thank members the best way we know how, sexy party time!

Journal Contest:
=Unknownphotography has many members from all over the world. We would like to pay homage to this fact with a contest that demonstrates that. We want you to take a picture of what makes where you live a unique and interesting place.

Rules:
- You must be currently watching =Unknownphotography to be eligible
- Only basic photo editing is allowed
- No collages, this is a 1 photo only contest
- You guessed it, only one entry per person (If you have more than one account we are trusting you to be honest enough to not submit through another account)

Deadlines:

Submit all entries to =Unknownphotography starting now until Valentine’s Day (February 14th) Winners will be announced on February 21st.

Prizes:
First Prize: 3 month Subscription, a feature in =Unknownphotography’s Journal as well as our affiliates Conceptual Photos and Save The Artists, and an =Unknownphotography t-shirt
Second Prize: 1 month Subscription, a feature in =Unknownphotography’s journal, and an=Unknownphotography t-shirt
Third Prize: A feature in=Unknownphotography’s journal and an =Unknownphotography t-shirt

“I Spy…” Contest:
An =Unknownphotography favourite; To kick off the actual party on February 10th =mom-the-bomb will be hosting a contest of “I Spy…” in the chat room at 12 p.m. EST. mom_the_bomb will “Spy” a photo from a member’s gallery. She will give the member’s name and then a clue of what photo from the member’s gallery is the one she is looking at. Member’s will have 5 minutes to find the picture. Everyone who finds the right photo will move on to another round and then another until there is a Championship Round naming the “I Spy...” winner.

Special Guests
Approximately an hour or so into the party (1pm New York Time, Sunday 10th of Feburary) We will be having an array of special guests join us for our celebrations. Both noted prominent photographers and gallery directors of our community will be giving one-on-one feedback on your photographs. On top of that there will be a short questions and answers session where you can direct any photography/photoshop queries to our special guests and be greeted with various answers from those experienced in the industry.

Trivia
=Unknownphotography Home to our own photography trivia! In celebration we will have a new set of questions for you! Winners will be tallied and prizes are in store (So hit the photography books!)

Photoshop Q&A Session
Throughout the course of the year =Unknownphotography has hosted many Photoshop Q&A Sessions thanks to :devxld-studios: We will be running a short session shortly after Trivia, where our special guests will also be in participation to offer you a variety of tips and advice. We will also extend into general photography questions also.

Fella:
dA’s very own Fella is currently traveling the world to some select =Unknownphotography members. Keep on checking the journal to read about his voyages and see some awesome pictures!
So be sure to drop in so you can check out all the cool things going on during =Unknownphotography’s very first birthday! See you all then!

We would like to get a diverse selection of time zones so that the room is most likely to have people around whenever needed. This will be a one year +/- commitment that we would need for you to be available if you are picked. We know you have lives and don't expect you to be there all the time or even everyday, but we would like to keep the room more staffed than it has been.
