reports, February 3Yeah,I sound like a scientist,philosopher,etc.,but this is something that I kind of enjoy looking into.For every modern video game,all kinds of websites post reviews.(duh)Take Gamespot.com for example,my fav of them all.^^ It reveals information of a game,its strengths and weaknesses,and how it compares to other games within its series(if it's in one).Of course,this is pretty typical for any site that holds video game reviews,since they can be similar at different places.But my real question is if there is a FINAL review for a game.I ask this because ratings vary among many sites,as I've noticed.So to get a good picture of what EVERYONE thinks of a certain video game,shouldn't there be ONE big review for the whole?!There may be,but it would be the first time I've heard of it.
The specific games I'm studying are recent and/or popular,such as:
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2:Battle
Sonic Heroes
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
Sly 2:Band of Thieves
Sly 3:Honor Among Thieves
Mario and Luigi:Superstar Saga
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
Sonic Riders
Sonic Riders:Zero Gravity
Super Mario Galaxy
The Legend of Spyro:A New Beginning
The Legend of Spyro:The Eternal Night
Some of these games I really liked,but had not-so-great reviews.I thought that was just ridiculous,saying stuff like,"Well how can they make it any better?!"Others that I thought stunk got GOOD reviews.Then I would think,"Are you blind?!Can't you see the downsides of that game?"But every person has his own taste and opinion,so that's that.
If you have your own "personal review" for one or several of the games listed above,tell meh!I want to know!

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Probably the best 3D sonic game to date (though that's not saying much.
SONIC HEROES:
While opinion is devided wether sonic went downhill here or in shadow the heaghog, I personaly think It was a pretty goood game. What can be said is that the voices sucked here (damn 4kids!
MARIO + LUIGI: SUPERSTAR SAGA:
Wow! it's paper mario meets normal mario! What could go wrong?
And in all honesty, nothing realy went wrong here. It was A bit annoying that the map did practicaly nothing to help see where the hell your were in that giantic world, But I'd still give it 8/10.
MARIO + LUIGI: PARTNERS IN TIME:
this was the 1st one I played in the Mario + luigi series (if you can call it that.), and I realy wish I hadn't, because it made Superstar Saga look only half-decent in comparison (though, it is a sequal, so you can expect that.)
Taking everything about the Superstar saga and Just improving on it, One of the best parts was the addition of the 2 babies, and their combo attacks when all 4 were together.
Their could have been a few more shops, but I still give this game a 9-10.
SUPER MARIO GALAXY:
Well, what can I say about this that you don't know?
It's probably got the longest life span of a 7th gen game, It's addicting as hell, and they mannaged to get a desent two player mode in! (Well, that's, a matter of opinion.)
There's so much to find, do, talk to, kill, jump on, read, jump over, destroy, collect and otherwise interact with. This is a flat out 10/10.
TLOS-ANB:
Well, we have new voices for spyro and sparks, and they fit quite well into the characters. There's an ingaging plot, a lode of stuff to work out, and lots of different attacks. AND the whole EXP. thing is awsome.
While the tutorials can be as slow as hell, some flying levels can be annoying, and the levels can be almost too long, This game is still a solid 9/10.
so, that's it!
