Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Director of Artist Relations
Hello!
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. The Gallery Directors are the first people you should go to regarding your galleries. They are the people you need to make gallery suggestions to, and ask questions about your specific genre, or seek knowledge from. They also act as your lifeline to the administration. They are here to support and listen, and I can tell you we've got incredibly talented, devoted and passionate people on this team, so get to know them!

Artist Relations is a constant work in progress and changes to the team happen constantly. As such, we say thank you and wish the best of luck to `thespook, `Einion, `GunShyMartyr, `PoeticWar, `emciem, `jgfeller, and `touchedvenus. Please take the time to visit these people and thank them for the impact their efforts made. We also welcome new faces to the Artist relations team; ^Katerina423 (Horror & Macabre Photography), ^sbaraci (Traditional Art), ^estudio (Photojournalism), ^oilsoaked (Traditional Art), ^allhopeislost (Wallpaper), ^DigitalPhenom (Designs & Interfaces) and ^feawen (Film). Please take the time to welcome them to the team and get to know them! More new faces will appear soon in the galleries still needing gallery directors so stay tuned

Last newsletter we announced *collab-da and we're happy to report that more than 900 of you have joined the collaboration movement! We've opened up a chatroom at #dAcollab so you can all get together, be sure to join in the fun! Together we're going to create some amazing things 
Problems with Stock Resources is an important read for stock users! Gallery directors are getting crazy! They've begun trading places to learn about the other genres so we, as a team, can better support our incredibly varied community! Take a look at the results from the first week of this project here Film, Film, Film!! If you haven't gotten involved in the film webring or heard about Ani-jam you need to get yourselves over to ^deviantartfilm and get educated and involved! We started a project called Project Educate, late last year and it will be starting again shortly.
