For those who don't know, I hosted a contest throughout the month of January, where the entrants were asked to use a piece of stock from a particular pack of mine, and use it in their art! You can find all of the details, and all of the entries, here: [link]

Anyway, I finally got around to the judging portion of the contest, and here are the details! Now, please help a girl out and go vote! (I really don't want to decide this on my own!!)


Okay!! So I've got the judging started. Here's what I've done: I judged each piece on 4 different areas: Originality, Seamlessness (how well the stock fit into the piece), Use of other elements in the scene, and Expression of idea. I would have used more criteria, but frankly, I couldn't think of anything else! lol... Anyway, there was 5 points available in each category, with a total possible score of 20. Now, I need your help! I'll be adding 3 polls: you can vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The first place choices recieved 18-20 points from me, the second, 17-18, and the third, 15-16. There were so many beautiful, inspiring entries, that I can't possibly choose on my own, but I also didn't want it to be a popularity contest, so this is the way I feel is best! For all those who entered, please know that the majority of the entries recieved at least a 14 as a score... You guys totally rock, and I'm so happy to have your entries!! So, anyway, I'll be getting the polls up in just a few minutes- be sure to vote on all three polls!! The voting will be over at midnight on Saturday night (Eastern time, cuz that's where I be!!)
