Following the rampant success of
the roundtable review's Donjong Heights Russian Sonnet Challenge, with the top prize dished out to dA's own *
Adeimantus, I've decided to run another challenge for the next issue.
This time the challenge is:
Write a poem of one metrical foot per line. It can be a variation on the sonnet form, or it can be free verse, or couplets, or any other style you wish to choose. The golden rule, and the challenge, is to make the bugger work.JUDGESMe.
DEADLINEMarch 12th.
PRIZESAs with the last contest, this one starts out with no prize except publication for my favourite entires in the next issue of
the roundtable review. But as with the last one, it may be that something develops along the way. Maybe if the entries start looking good, I'll even scrape something together myself, eh?
