Hablé con el programador y me explicó que la idea no era cambiar nada sino arreglarlo, pero continuar mostrando a los más populares. No estoy muy de acuerdo con eso ya que entra en un círculo vicioso que solo potencia más la popularidad de los más populares y opaca a los que recién empiezan o tienen pocas visitas, sin tener en cuenta talento ni nada. De todas formas, tengo que decir que el algoritmo que están usando ahora funciona perfectamente para lo que quieren.

Este algoritmo trabaja de forma proporcional. Si del 100% de las imágenes subidas, 25% son fotos, van a aparecer un 25% de fotos en la exposición de populares. Así, con todas las categorías. De esta forma, cada categoría va a ser mostrada de forma justa, tomando como parámetro la cantidad de trabajos publicados en cada sección.

En la versión anterior en cambio, solo se tomaba como parámetro la cantidad de favoritos en cada trabajo. Por lo tanto, y como era de esperar, las categorías de manga/anime eran las que casi siempre aparecían.

PERO...

Él me dijo que no lo había pensado mucho pero que otras personas y yo, lo habíamos hecho pensar que sería interesante ensanchar la variedad de artistas y categorías para mostrar. Por lo tanto... Quizás... Queda algo de esperanza ^_^

A seguir pensando como mejorar que al fin y al cabo este es nuestro lugar! Y como tal, somos nosotros los que tenemos que mejorarlo!! ^_^
