Deviants are challenging each other to expand and share their talents. In a journal, =
shibamura-prime offered to create artistic pieces for the first 10 people to comment on his journal. His only catch was that each of the 10 had to repost his idea and create their work for 10 others. What has resulted is a

ass-It-Forward concept. Through the course of time, Shibamura-primes chain has evolved into a challenge for others to ask for various pieces of various stipulations. The artist responds to the best of his or her ability. This challenge came across my desk and peeked my interest when I read ~
EilDards journal and asked for a random poem. He has altered the challenge to meet his abilities, as he is a writer and not an artist. Through my research, I have gathered a set of rules for this challenge and invite others to join in, either by finding the current end of a strand (one is at ~
DreamGirl303), or by creating your own and crediting =
shibamura-prime for his idea.
Rules/Procedure:
1) The posting artist writes a journal entry similar to the following entry found at
[link] I am offering 10 free, origional and unique works, one to each of the first 10 members who request one. I can draw you a picture (if stick figures are ok because I am visual-artistically challenged), write you a poem, or a paragraph, or a short story. I promise all of my effort but cannot promise excellent quality as that is a subjective opinion.
The only catch is that if you are one of my 10, you have to repost this concept in your journals and pass the talent forward. I will post the finished project only after I have confirmed that the respective member of 10 has reposted this along. So, what do you say? Are you in or are you out? Comment and let me know. EilDard is working on a poem for me, as I am one of his 10, and am reposting as per his request.
2) The post must include the talents of the posting artist and the requesting artist must try to challenge the posting artist to expand and improve their talents. (i.e. Create a circle is not allowed, but Create a picture with at least 4 circles each containing a different repeating item, and are not the central focus of the composition is allowed. Get the picture?)
3) The posting artist creates and posts on DA the first 10 requests received in the Comments section of the journal.
4) The first 10 requesting artists each start with step 1 and the cycle continues.
5) According to *
felinaedeath, If [the requesting artist] do[es} get a slot and post[s] this on [his or her] journal and [the posting artist] rush[s] in and grab[s] a slot, [the posting artist] don't have to continue the cycle (otherwise, it's an endless waltz). Same goes for whoever does this.
6) Look at this as an exercise to get our creative juices flowing and a chance to have fun with what we do best!
