Don't you think that portrait photography and urban exploration can make a most interesting combination? That is what this contest,
Portraits in abandoned places, is about.
Here are some fine examples for great portrait photography in decaying locations:

You get the idea, right? You can also browse my collection "industrial portraits" for more inspirations:

RULESNo contest without rules, so here they are:
1. The category is photography. Digital editing is acceptable for color / contrast adjustments, clipping and frames, but no textures, brushes or background editings. HDR is ok.
2. Please stick to the topic. The entry must be a portrait, that is, a person (or a group of people) must be the main content of the picture. And it must be shot in an abandoned place (old factory, empty house, anything's fine).
3. The photo must be new (submitted after Feb 1st).
4. No nudity, explicit violence or gore. Dark art is fine, though.
5. Deadline is April 30th, unless I receive more than 50 entries before that date.
6. The winners will be decided in two steps: First there will be public voting, and *
Lilywen, =
penumbrous-world and I will pick the three winners from the Top 10 from the votes. There might be honorable mentions as well, depending on the quality of the entries.
7. The most important rule: ENJOY AND HAVE FUN!
All entries will be featured in my journal for the duration of the contest.
