IYF Young T-shirt Design CONTEST!

IYF (International Youth Fellowship established in 1995) is a global non-profit organization that leads youths and students to become leaders of the next generation.
IYF is hosting world camps in 32 different countries in the year of 2010.
In the US, IYF will be holding a world camp in Los Angeles, CA from June 28- July 2, 2010 at UCLA.

This contest is to promote your ideas for our T-shirt design based on this World Camp in LA.

We highly expect many extravegant designs and creations.
We apologize for the late anouncement, but the deadline is 12/20/09.

On the t-shirt design, please include the following:
-2010 IYF World Camp in LA
-Change, Challenge, Cohesion

Its not taking me long to figure out that I have one of the most talented bunches on dA.
Every single time I go through the gallery I am astonished at what I see...I wont even look unless I have tons of time to devote to it because I will get lost in there. Very talented artists. I Have choosen a few from the galleries sub cats and featured them below ...I beleive they speak for themselves.

FURY Wins TDC 54 Typography Award
The Type Directors Club announced that FURY Design of New York was awarded the Certificate of Typographic Excellence in their 54th annual design competition.

The award was in recognition of FURY Design's work developing a logo for the Ladies' Night program recently launched by MTV Networks Europe and MTV Arabia in the Middle East.

On the FURY team was Khaled Sawaf, Creative Director and designer; Andy Millar, agency executive producer; Hunter Schindo, production artist.

The decidedly feminine logo utilizes lace and custom type to form a look that is modern, bold and easy to read across broadcast, web and mobile.

The design was selected by the judges from over 2100 entries from 33 countries around the world.

The design competition is intended to represent the best in international typographic design, and will be exhibited in six traveling shows in the US and Europe.
