THIS! Introduction written by ^StJoanMost of you know ^
cosmosue as your resident Digital Art Gallery Director, but there is so much more to Susan that makes her the wonderful GD that she is.
Recently I and $
FallenRox had the pleasure of learning a bit more about her in preparation for our first Artist Relations Featured Chat Series launch!
Currently she is living in South Carolina in the United States and has completed two years of her BA in Fine Arts. She focuses mainly on digital mediums, design and sculpture, but past those she actually spent years working in bakeries to teach herself cake decorating. Her professional career did not stop there. She has not only worked in an eclectic art gallery but also managed an art sales company. Susan is also a flautist and is currently studying the guitar. In her personal life she is a stay at home mom to two children ages twelve and two. But even though she may be chasing around two children she hasnt stopped working on her art. Currently she does custom commissions and licenses out her work for book covers, CD covers, and even magazines. At this very moment she is working on a book cover for a publishing company in Canada and a new card game.
So how did we get a hold of this gem of a woman? Photoshop brushes. Thats right, she came to deviantArt looking for photoshop brushes and found herself hooked on photomanipulation. She dove straight into the medium and began digital painting with a newly purchased tablet, mixing photos, working with 3D and even fractals. Everything she does digitally is absolutely self taught.
