Author Roy D.Q. has recently begun a search for an artist to create the cover for his new book: "The August of Randy Cummings" which is categorized as modern action/adventure. The book takes place in the August of 1979, and is about the character Randy Cummings and his adventures in this time period.

Deviant Art is unanimously considered the most popular hub for artistic talent and creativity, so it is pertinent that the artist community (both illustrators and graphic designers alike) know of this opportunity to get themselves published, and paid very well for it! Quoting the Author, "I need someone who can do an illustration for the book cover that is featuring the characters in a distinctly 1970's style--almost like a comic book."

Opportunities to become a part of something solid like this don't come very often, so I urge the artist community to try out for it! So how do you try out for it? Select several of your best deviations, (illustrations, graphic designs, or both) work that you feel shows off your style, your talent, and your ability to illustrate both digitally or traditionally.
