I would really like to critique some work and show it off in my journal every week. If you have a piece that you really like, or even someone else's piece that you want to nominate, and you want a real critique, then drop me a note!
About Critiquing:
An art critique is basically constructive criticism. It should tell the artist what is good, what is great, and what can be improved so they can develop their skills.
I can't promise that I'll write and essay about your piece, but I can promise that I will comment on all of the following things: composition, color, light, technique, medium, quality, dimension, feeling, and overall effect.
I will accept any kind of visual art, whether it be a web interface, self-portrait or cartoon, as well as any genre of art from Journalism to Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
I love seeing new and wonderful art. But even more so I love seeing an artist who has really improved by being involved with deviantart. So go through your gallery and give me something to work with!
