What a Vexel Is: The Official dA Definition

reports, July 7Influenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Director of Artist Relations
Hello!
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. The Gallery Directors are the first people you should go to regarding your galleries. They are the people you need to make gallery suggestions to, and ask questions about your specific genre, or seek knowledge from. They also act as your lifeline to the administration. They are here to support and listen, and I can tell you we've got incredibly talented, devoted and passionate people on this team, so get to know them!

Once again we need to discuss disagreeing with daily deviations and how to do it properly. Posting cruel, harassing comments on an artists' page because you don't think they should have gotten a daily deviation is immature and uncalled for. If you don't agree with a daily deviation, contact the gallery director who chose it, or send a note to me. With almost 51 million pieces of artwork, I can guarantee you that you won't like them all.
