Alrighty people, seeing as how I'm still watching the Oscars & that I'm a tad behind, let's just try to cut the intro as short as we can, okay? Welcome, welcome, enjoy the DD-worthy stuff being celebrated, etc., etc.

Alright, first off, despite the fact that no actual controversy was caused by it, I'm just going to apologize for my tone when discussing FairExposure last week. Now, I'm not changing my views on it, but seeing as how a lot of people against it tend to come off as crazed (though judging by everything I feature, I'd be proud to say that I am crazed), I don't want to give off any negative feelings.

Nonetheless, I'm still not forgetting that having just FairExposure as the main system is the wrong way to go, & I am currently trying to sanely work things out with the DA staff about this.

And if that doesn't work, I've got a baseball bat & MapQuest directions ready.

Also, bonus tenth feature this week! The VGCats pic turned out to be so awesome that I couldn't resist suggesting it earlier this week...& it rightfully ended up with a DD in the process! Of course, if it didn't get a DD, I was fully preapred to feature it here instead...But eh, it still kicks ass so much that I'm doing it anyway. Besides, Scott easily deserves a Golden Fefcaine Award, dammit.

Alright now, on with the show! Here's this week's Mini-DDs...



*recycledwax has indeed had multiple appearances here, but there's a good reason behind his dominance: He frigging rocks. Robot Dance is yet another one of his eye-popping pieces of Vector art, managing to be creative, cute, unique, stylish, & funny all at once. If you don't fall in love with the funky & lovable little robots, then there is definitely something wrong with you.



There are two main reasons as to why Music poster 2 by ~Si2 is one kickass piece of work. First, Reel Big Fish do indeed kick ass. But the second & most important reason is due to the artist's ridiculous amazing & unique style, his amazing attention to detail, color, & expressions, & the sheer amount of fun he poured into this, making for one truly amazing concert poster that would indeed make one kickass souveneir.



RHYTHM by =Rocker-Artist...While the artist may not have been able to decide which exact color scheme she liked the best, there's no denying that she created a truly lovable, fun, & cool character here. The amazing style, the laid-back feeling, & all the nice little details (Beck lyrics = Win) come together to create one sweet & eye-pleasing piece of work (& FYI, I like the scheme on the right best).



Fauxasia I by ~eelsleeves does indeed perfectly showcase some cool & creative character designs, but it's the style here - Which as the title suggests, is a lovely & perfectly colored & detailed tribute to ancient Asian watercolors - That really grabs your attention & makes you fall in love with it all. Plus, anything that prominently features a cross between a tiger & a wolf has to be pure awesomeness.



Now, I have seen quite a few cow anthros while browsing around DA, but COWBOY 8D by ~Saddeh-chan just seemed to grab my attention...Maybe it was the perfectly showcased & unique character design, maybe it was the cool style, maybe it it was all of the little details right down to the markings & clothing...But in the end, only one thing mattered: That this was just just plain badass & fun overall.



Happy meal by ~Camillo13...Because anything featuring a combination of mutant-infested amusement parks & fast food just cannot be ignored. And of course, the unique & cool characters, the lovely style, the nice colors & details, & the perfect feeling of comedic cartoon horror definitely help as well. Plus, I dare you to tell me that anything featuring the badass guy on the left doesn't deserve any faves.



I'll never understand why extremely talented artists such as ~Niking will say that something they've done such as Timeman is "nothing special". Sure, you may think it's just a doodle, but it is one wicked doodle with a nice amount of heart & attention poured into the pose, the style, the expression, & every stroke in general. A perfect tribute to a "lost" Robot Master of sorts.



Light bulb does seem to be tad of a departure from ~JL89's usual stuff...& it paid off perfectly. The funky designs, the sweet mix of colors, the unique style & concept, the surreal feeling to it all & the way it just "flows" perfectly...All of it is really just pure brilliance, resulting in one stunner of a Deviation that definitely deserves a spot in your faves.



How, there's probably a lot I can say here about how deserving Ward Evil ... Sort of by *xx-rin is of all the praise it can get...But all you really need to know is that it's simple, cute, eye-pleasing, stylish, nicely-drawn, & features a well-designed & lovable character that easily deserves top honors alone. You just have to love it all, plain & simple.



Kirbies by *VGCScott...Oh lordy, where to begin here! Well, there's the fact that this was drawn by ridiculously talented webcomic artist Scott Ramosair, which alone earns this bonus points. But then there's the amount of passion, detail, style, & personality poured into every one of these little guys to deliver one amazing Kirby-cized tribute to some of our favorite gaming & pop culture icons, &...Ah Hell, I'm speechless. Just fave it already, dammit!!
