I have a great idea for a comic I've been sitting on and have been fleshing for about a year. I'm serious about making it into the comic business so do not submit unless your serious. I'm looking for a penciler who can not only do great splash pages but sequentials too. If you can color that's even better. I'm not going to put the story up here but I will tell you it is a super hero story, no it isn't something lame that I halfassed (I full assed it). I'm serious about becoming a comic penciler so I won't waste on a horrible script. I'm looking for reliable who won't flake out either.

I don't really have any preference on style, it can be american, manga, kinetic, cartoony, realism, etc.. As long as your good and your style will portray the characters well then you have a shot. For the purpose of the contest I want to see two peices of work from you, one splashand one sequential. If you don't know what a splash is you probably aren't serious about comics. I'm not trying to be rude but honest.

I want to see your best work, it can be something already posted that's fine if you feel it best represents your skill. I'm not too worried about how well you are on sequentials because the script I'm writing is in true comic format where it is pretty specific on each panel but I do allow you to go crazy half the time because I feel everyone in the process should have some control.

Her's what I plan on happening, two creative teams putting out pages. We will probably split it up into increments of five pages. This way the pages go out faster and theirs less waiting. Two different styles is pretty coll too.

When submitting send you pencil stuff to me in a note and send all COLORING SUBMISSIONS to she's really cool and is also working on the comic.

Oh ya and prizes for first place are you get to work on the book and hopefully (I've got advertising plans to, hopefully, get noticed by some proffessional comic artists)make this the catalyst to a carreer in comics.

Second prize gets a pat on the back and remembered by me for their outstanding work! If this goes well I may hit you up to work on another comic.
