Some time ago we needed to fetch some data from our deviantART's profiles, so we wrote some code that "reads" deviantART's profiles and "understand" the data in it.(*)
When we'd finished working on it we realized that this data would be useful in a widget so we created
a small site that creates a small widget which you can insert in your site/blog/whatever.
There are four possible widgets, from small to huge (it varies by information in them and resulting size).
The use of the widget is really simple, you just need to put two pieces of code in the page you want the widget to appear (you'll find instructions on how to do it in two steps on the website).
Obviously deviantART's users are too many to even imagine to get always up to date date for all users so we require users who want their widget updated to sign up (it's free) so we know which users need to be updated and which don't.
Plus, registered users can customize their widget's colours as they want!
We like deviantART and we are happy to contribute to the community as much as we can.
We hope you'll love your new widget!

The un-official DeviantART's widget(*) - For technical people we created a small library written in Ruby that fetches and parses profile's page and populates an hash.
