In this article you will find many thumbnails of the sun in different forms, all photography featured here by the club feature-me. Please show your support for these artists and their work and the article so that more people can see their work.
The term "abortion" actually refers to any premature expulsion of a human fetus, whether naturally spontaneous, as in a miscarriage, or artificially induced, as in a surgical or chemical abortion. Today, the most common usage of the term "abortion" applies to artificially induced abortion, which is the subject of this news.
Is Abortion Safe? If you didnt know, abortion can cause physical and psychological complications..
PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS:
* Pain: researchers have rated the pain from abortion as more painful than a bone fracture, about the same as cancer pain, though not as painful as an amputation.
* Cervical Injury or Uterine Perforation: The use of more powerful general anesthetics can reduce the pain, but significantly increases the risk of cervical injury or uterine perforation.
* Others as bleeding, hemorrhage, menstrual disturbance, inflammation of the reproductive organs, bladder or bowel perforation and serious infection.
* Permanent infertility: Even more harmful long term physical complications from abortion may surface later. For example, overzealous currettage can damage the lining of the uterus and lead to permanent infertility.
* Breast cancer: There is strong evidence that abortion increases the risk of breast cancer.
* Death: Of course, death of the mother is the most serious of all complications. The risk of death increases according to the duration of pregnancy and the complexity of the abortion technique employed.
PSYCHOLOGICAL COMPLICATIONS:
* Negative after-effects: They report "horrible nightmares of children calling them from trash cans, of body parts, and blood.." "They feel worthless and victimized because they failed at the most natural of human activities -- the role of being a mother."
* Post-Abortion Syndrome: Women suffering this may experience drug and alcohol abuse, personal relationship disorders, sexual dysfunction, repeated abortions, communications difficulties, damaged self-esteem, and even attempt suicide. Post-Abortion Syndrome appears to be a type of pattern of denial which may last for five to ten years before emotional difficulties surface.
ALTERNATIVES to ABORTION (SAY YES TO LIFE!):
Throughout the United States, there are nearly 3,000 Crisis Pregnancy Centers staffed by volunteers ready to provide real help to women facing unplanned or untimely pregnancies. In addition to providing pregnancy tests and counseling, these centers often offer a full range of services, helping women obtain housing, maternity and baby clothes, baby equipment, pre- and post-natal medical care, legal assistance and financial support, information about adoption, and even advice on how a woman in school can continue her education.
You can aslo call, toll-free, 1 (800) 848-LOVE, any time, day or night, to find the nearest Crisis Pregnancy Center in your area. Youll find someone who genuinely cares about what happens to you and your unborn baby.
If you are not an USA resident, you can search on the web for other places that can help you with this and guide you for a better choice.. Or ask a hospital or clinic of your country.

PRO-LIFE FEATURE:
THIS NEWS WAS CREATED SO PEOPLE COULD GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ABORTION AND TO THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU TAKE A CHOICE
It's probably best to check with artists before using their work in something like this that many people have strong opinions on.
I appreciate your point and argument, and am glad that you did it in a reasonable way. It is fair though, I think, to point out that pregnancy and child-birth also carry their set of risks. I am strongly pro-choice, (emphasis on choice) but moral debate and the like aside, my decision is based in part on my belief that abortion will never go away, the prospect of a child will always be too scary for some, and I'd rather see it as an availble option in hospitals where it can be supervised rather than through some back door on the street. I am cynical that way but I always believe the choice should be there. I certainly don't intend on ever having one, and hope that I will never be in a position where I have to make that choice but I want to be able to decide that for myself. What comes of it would be up to me to deal with.
There is also lots of evidence that living is prone to all kinds of disorders. The earths population has exceeded its 2 billion people sustainability threshold, we are at 6 billion, that is 66% more load on the planet than the planet can sustain. What right minded individual brings a child into this world, that is crashing all around us and is going to cause an insurmountable amount of suffering. It is not a matter of 'if' but 'when'.
All you "prolifers" need to get a grip on reality and start thinking of the future. Life has always been about death. In every circle of life there is death. Death is life, but suffering can be avoided.
What's your earliest memory?
Still, my gal and I are sterile. Does that make us sad? No, because in reality, we will not be bringing children into a world not kept for them, because our forefathers and ourselves have consumed it all.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
