In this article I'd like to feature some amazing Master Studies which caught my eye recently. I consider myself an appreciator of classic traditional art, and I have lots of respect and admiration for anyone who takes up the challenge to create a Master Study.
Most of the Master Studies on deviantArt are incredibly underappreciated, so with this feature I hope to give all of these brave artists a well-deserved place in the spotlights.
This is a feature to thank all deviants who ever added me to their watch-list. Please take a look at the wonderful galleries of these artists who have supported me so far!
The club posted on the forum asking to see people's portraits, then the best ones were picked and put in this news article. Please show your support for these artists by viewing their work and faving any that you like. These are of all mediums, photography, drawings, digital art.
Dear friends, In the animated atmosphere of gradually growing Vietnamese comics in the year 2009, I feel so surprised and hopeful about our comics in the future. The reason is that many young artists appear and show off their talents - That is everyone's long-awaited pride. Along with GreenFarm, Manzin and the forthcoming Truyện Tranh Việt Online, Vietnamese comics is believed to be better and move to a higher phase.
Therefore, in order to warm up the air as well as to creat an interesting and realistic activity for all young artists, basing on the idea of Kaboom Ink on DeviantART, =Clap-san and I really hope to lauch a campaign:
I wish and believe that this artbook will be supported by all of you. Lets show to the international friends the joy and unity of our Vietnamese-comics community! ^_^

As much as we love tablets and Photoshop, there's something almost carnal in traditional art. There has always been a big gap between digital and traditional art, and everyone who has ever tried to scan or take a photo of a painting or a drawing knows it never looks as beautiful as the original. Yet here are a few artists that didn't only overcome this difficulty but have an extraordinary talent and a remarkable style.
Jacub's watercolor achieves an incredibly romantic and elegant realism.
Marcos Rey has this incredible skill to mix color with grayscale and to capture the delicate nature of female form.
Chang's colors are not just vivid, they glow. And if you take a look at his gallery you'll see that traditional art is not his only talent.
One of my idols, Jason paints such still life that he make me wonder if we need cameras. I'm still amazed at how he captures the beauty of glass.
The thing that leaves me in awe in Bob's paintings is his unique style. There's something very mystical and sensual about his women.
One of the most harmonic and colorful artists I've seen, Radina gives a beautiful touch to such frequently painted things as flowers. Her landscapes bring me back home.
I can only gaze in awe at Merethe's skill to give emotions to objects. Her "trapped" fruit is extremely amusing.
Awesome features Dani, you know I'm always looking for new talented artists to watch! What you said is true, tradditional art has that unique something that can't quite be pulled off via digital art.
Oh you made all the work worth it! I have this huge folder of amazing unknown art in my computer, and you know, they are my hope that one day I might achieve something just as beautiful. As you may guess there will be more articles, I won't give up Digital can't give you the smell of paint or the graphite on your fingers
thank you very much danielle.. I am honored to be among the selection of your tradicional masters.. is a beautiful gift
and I agree with you, the traditional art is the magic that offers an original work, a magic that can never be reached compare with a work made digitally.
You totally deserve it, and I dearly loved creating this article. Looking at your and the others' works is a beautiful gift for me, as well. Indeed, the original traditional piece is the only work in which you can actually sense the inspiration of the artist. But we should thank digital, too. If it wasn't for scanners, cameras and computers we wouldn't be able to share art with so many people.
Ne moga da ti opisha kolko me zaradva Blagodarya ti ot sarce za hubavite dumi, chuvstvam se strahotno sled vsichko, napisano za men Blagodarya otnovo!!!!
Yay! I love your articles, you always feature excellent works. And I'm so happy that you sorted out your favourites into catergories, they're so much easier to navigate...as you know, I love to browse around in there You know, if I'm looking for inspiration, that's the one place I go to and look for art that I can relate to. Me loves
Yes, that's too true...tradditional art feels a little bit more real and has that substance. I mean, I've hardly ever come across a digital work which can give a finish like this>>> [link] But I think using photoshop to paint is so much easier than painting on canvas. Hmmm...I like both tradditional and digital the same
Danielle, putting me among your collection of artists is a true honor. Their works are such an inspiration to keep trying to improve. You are a special friend to have included me. Thank you.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
