In the category description says that those are animals we keep at home as pets, or as farm animals. But this is not the exact description and leads to confusion. Domesticated animals are those that do not exist in the nature, but were created by breeding and selection via human action. So in this case, in the category of domesticated animals would go cows, horses, sheep, donkeys, pigs, goats, cats, dogs
and other mammals that do not exist in this form in the nature, and most of them would probably not survive if left out in the wild.
Hens, some ducks, geese and turkeys are also domesticated, but as birds have their own category, domesticated ones should be placed in birds too.
Snakes and other reptiles we keep as pets are actually only captured wild animals and are the same as their relatives that live in the nature. But snakes go to reptiles and amphibians anyway.
Most of the domesticated animals shots are dogs and cats as most of us have them as pets. I will show couple of them here too, but also some interesting shots of other domesticated animals.
Enjoy
