New Project new Work!

Doing a 100 card project.

No rules, no agreements, No bullshit
Just freestyling with some mixed media techniques!

This card is made with, A Printed photo, Thinner Blend on Paper, scanned printed scanned printed, little acrylic, Photoshop,Illustrator,indesign.

So this is the first kick for the project, hope yall like.
When the 100 cards are done, they come for sale!
So watch out versch comming to Yall


This was my third magazine cover for my coursework, i wanted the title to be the main item on the page, with an architecture vibe.

I readjusted the tracking on the word summer so that the uprights of the relevant letters were in line with the 7.

I have "woven" the barcode into the design at the bottom, to integrate it more into the imagery, rather than leaving it looking "slapped on" but it still keeps its functionality.

This took a further 5 hours or so of development on top of the initial imagery - Photoshop CS2

This was produced for my coursework.

I had to produce some magazine covers to go after a niche market of our own choosing.

I decided to choose weird property and architecture that comes up for sale.

I chose the name madhouse to begin with, but then changed it to madhaus as a play on words to tie with the famous design movement of the Bauhaus, who were incredibly influential on architecture.

I made this as a deliberate attempt to emulate the famous 'swiss-style' of Josef Muller-Brockmann, a graphics hero.

There was quite a complicated grid produced for this design, and this was the final that i was happy with.

The barcode was intergrated to the coloured stripes as the linear qualities fitted in well, and meant i didnt have to have a barcode "slapped on".

The font used is Clan, from FONTFONT.
