We have all heard of of separated at birth celebrities, stars etc. but I have found if one looks carefully here on DA there are some twins here as well!
B Y E . B Y E . B E A U T I E S....? I'd like to to pay some special attention to our co-planet-inhabitants: The Animals. Since you're choose to read this article, I assume you are an AnimalLover, too and as we all know: many animals are not doing so well lately.....
So I planned on making a beautiful collection here of critically endangered species, just as a reminder: We love them and it's our responsibility to make sure that they won't get extinct, like many did already.
Maybe you feel like there's not much you can do, but everything starts somewhere. Just realize that if we ignore the situation there will be a day that all we've left is some beautiful photos to prove how beautiful earth used to be....
"Life on Earth is disappearing fast and will continue to do so unless urgent action is taken. There are now 41,415 species on the IUCN Red List and 16,306 of them are threatened with extinction".
I got a little discouraged to say the least.....;( So......please have a look....think about it and....think some more, thanks!
The giant panda is among the world's most adored and protected rare animals, and is one of the few in the world whose natural inhabitant status was able to gain a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. endangered
Cheetahs are included on the World Conservation Union (IUCN) list of vulnerable species as well as on the U.S. ESA: threatened species. Approximately 12,400 cheetahs remain in the wild in twenty-five African countries
The Bornean species of orangutans is highly endangered and the Sumatran species is critically endangered.
The total estimated wild population of the snow leopard is between 4,000 and 7,500 individuals. In addition, there are 600-700 animals in zoos around the world. endangered.
The Western Lowland Gorilla is the most widespread and common gorilla, but is classified as Critically Endangered because its population had declined over 80 percent in 10 years. The Western Lowland Gorilla is critically endangered due to the Ebola virus and their main predators: man (poachers) and leopards.
Bonobos are an endangered species, due to both habitat loss and hunting for bushmeat, the latter activity having increased dramatically during the current civil war due to the presence of heavily armed militias even in remote "protected" areas. Today, at most several thousand Bonobos remain. This is part of a more general trend of ape extinction. Endangered.
The Golden Lion Tamarin is an endangered species and among the rarest animals in the world, with an estimated wild population of 1,000 individuals and a captive population of approximately 500.
The critically endangered Amur Leopard is possibly the rarest subspecies of leopard in the world with estimates of between 25 to 34 known individuals remaining in the wild.
The threat to the African elephant presented by the ivory trade is unique to the species. Larger, long-lived, slow-breeding animals, like the elephant, are more susceptible to overhunting than other animals. They cannot hide, and it takes many years for an elephant to grow and reproduce.
Red Wolf: Critically endangered species. Two subspecies are extinct in 1930/ 1970.<
The Siberian tiger / amur tiger is critically endangered.
Asiatic Lion: Critically endangered.
The Hyacinth Macawis considered an endangered species due to overcollection for the cage bird trade and by the use of their feathers by the Kayapo Indians of Gorotire in southern Brazil. These Indians use the feathers to make headdresses and other baubles for the tourist trade. Endangered
The Forest OwletThe Forest Owlet remains critically endangered, and the current population has been estimated at less than 250. Critically endangered
Yes I am a huge animal lover and if I ever had enough money this is where my money would go. Through no fault of their's is the over populated planet. Humans are the only greedy occupants of Earth. I have been vegetarian since about 15 because I love animals so much!
Thank you for such a beautiful reminder of how wonderful these amazing creatures are -I have to admit - I am ashamed to tell you I have not heard of Bonobos but even their name is so cute Honey ^-^

"It just puts an end on my nerves. People kill 'em for profits and sport. Do they realize what is going on? 'Course not. Either it's 'bout money or they have fun not caring in the world 'bout how much pain the poor animals go through. I just realized that it's like some people don't care what happens. Animals do have feelings too. I feel sorry for such beautiful animals that die from cold hearted souls."
well thanks for your report on what we are doing to the planet. Try not to become too discouraged--in a decade or so many of the selfish will die and the new generation is more aware.
It's heart wrenching to hear this. I love animals to the ends of the earth and would put my life in the place of even the smallest endangered species. Unfortunately, I don't have much money to spare. My subscription was donated to me and I have to save up for very long periods of time to get the art supplies (tablet, photo shop, markers, etc...) and if I had any money to spare I would put it towards this.
If there's any thing else I can do I really would like to know.

Thanks for featuring this new article- it is definitely worth my while. This is an issue that needs to be blown in the faces of ALL Americans (And people all over the world, too!). So it's good to know that you're doing what you can to help.
