Purpose:
Remind us that dA is a community...that includes a slice of the world. dA is more than just a site. dA is a community. A community of the serious and the not so serious. A community of the ones that is going though a hard time and the ones that is doing well. We had different beliefs, goals, values, etc. but we all have them. We are all of this Earth. WE ARE dA! It doesn't matter if something happened or not. It's always good to remember this.

For the Record:

(!) Just putting it for the sake of being a project idea...


1)First we have to see who is in or not. That will affect the 'quilt' size. (Keep on reading...) Whoever is in will represent a slice of dA. Kind of like this poem:



2) We will take an image. Perhaps something of dA. Perhaps something about the world. I'm considering of making the image if possible...or put a set size and someone could help me. We will cut it up into avatars 50 x 50.

3) We will give a piece to each person. For a certain date, each of us will put their 'quilt' piece up. IF WE DO GET THE TIME, YOU MUST REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR AVATAR!!!!! We will figure out a way to take a screenshot from a journal and we'll send an article for that day.

4) At this time, each person can write who they are, type of art they like, and some ideas or beliefs they hold. Just a little something about who they are. It can be a sentence to an essay. PASSAGES SENT THROUGH NOTES PLEASE!!!!!!

5) Then, we will also celebrate the 'revealing' of the 'quilt'. THIS CALLS FOR ANOTHER DATE!!!! REMEMBER TO REMOVE YOUR 'QUILT' AVATAR!!!!! We strip the icon 'quilt' and you put a new one or old one whatever you prefer.

6) We will keep the order of the 'quilt' and have that in a news article. Along with that is a long list of passages. Yes, I will collect the passages you wrote. If this project works and becomes large, it might have more articles.
