Rats! They're a bit like Marmite, you either love them or hate them. Some people are rat crazy (like me!) and some people just get freaked out by them. It's a common misconception from those who dislike rats that they are just "sewer dwellers". Rats make the most amazing pets. I have two myself and I sometimes think of them as mini dogs, because that's how attentive they are. They come when they are called and they are litter trained and very clean. They love to cuddle up on the sofa and be tickled until they fall asleep. They will sit on my shoulders while I'm on the computer or reading a book. They will come to the pet shop with me to choose their own treats and freak people out They are cheeky and lots of fun. A lot of people don't realise the fun that rats are, so this is my tribute to rats and to the people who love them like I do.
