A Little Drop of Apo by *jarrich

This is a brilliant example of beautiful fractal art can be. I thought at first sight that this was a photograph of a drop of blood or some red liquid. Absolutely brilliant.

"How everyone passed this fractal by is beyond me. It gives off a nice glow, the colors are astounding, and the textures are nothing short of amazing. The blur seems a little awkward, but it's not a big deal. Check this piece out; you'll be glad you did."

This piece really shows off Neil's attention to detail; he melds soft, flowing forms with hard marble-like forms to create a fantastic pink underwater landscape. The use of a monochrome gradient allows the movement of the piece to really shine through. Neil's whole gallery is fantastic but this piece really is a step above.

Cream 'n Gold by *mistywisp

Okay, so maybe I've been on an Etched Forms kick lately, but they still astound me. Cream 'n Gold by *mistywisp is no exception. It's hard to say which is more striking about this piece: is it the delicate shape of the blossoms, exquisite down to the texture on each leaf? Or is it the colors, from the obvious cream and gold with hints of a malicious black and green in the background?




`Platinus' Features:



Tequila Gaia by LonesomeFaery is just so wonderfully textured and the shades are so lovely. It makes me think of sitting on a lovely beach on another planet sipping on an alien mai tai
