I really enjoyed ^equivoque 's article on women with cameras, for International Women's week [link] , and it inspired me to feature female photographers who really push the boundaries with their photography.
There are many fantastic female photographers on DA, but only a rare bunch that tread into a darker, stranger territory. These are the women compelled to capture images that are more side show than fashion show. They aren't afraid of capturing nightmares, emotions, fears, and sexuality.
Wow what an honor to be in such an article.... I truly thank you for the chance!!! It means a lot to me to hear somebody say that about my work, because I truly do strive out of the box.
