This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter.

Here, I and ^PurpelBlur run this newest and perhaps important deviantART group for the creative growth of the Digital Art realm of our community, which specializes in showcasing some of the most brilliant and quite fascinating digital artistry ever on dA today, in order to inspire us all richly in our own art creations.
Please be sure not to miss this article, so read on!!! !!
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to expose unknown talent in the Digital art gallery. I will be featuring art pieces with less the 50 favorite's and the featured artist will have less then 5000 page views.
Suggestions: If you have any suggestions of pieces which should be in here please note us, they can be pieces by you, friends or even other deviants. Just make sure the piece you are suggesting is located in the digital art gallery and has under 50 favorite's.
thanks man, its harder now tho, coz when they added that "collections" feature... they have totaly fucked up the "popular" sort, it is no longer in order from most favs to least... you will have like one with 5,000 favs after and next to one with 10... so you can't just go to the areas with less than 50 and look for the good ones anymore (which is what i did before XD).
Well, going down the list of most popular images like that takes the fun out of finding under-appreciated art ! Try finding them just like that, that's how you find GEMS.

Excellent selections and great to see the new issue out. Really good to see Blane's piece get featured I was hoping someone would eventually as it is simply amazing. When I have extra time I will go through and see if I can come up with a list of unknown artists and send it to one of your guys hopefully it will sustain you for a few issues. And I do agree with you SD the collections thing really did screw up the sort by popularity feature.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
