One of these days I was browsing the net for animal related videos. Unfortunatelly, I met some I did not want to: expressive vids about cats and dogs being tortured or skilled alive... I don't think you want to know the details. I got shocked and outraged.

It is beyond me that some don't kill the animals before skinning them for their fur just to make the process faster. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but I just don't get it. Don't these people feel any sympathy for the animals? How can they torture and kill for fur or pleasure, when others (me) protect, care and defend. It's sad enough that fashion embraces fur, but why can't they care for pain suppression? Now, many say that those who treat animals like this are severely undereducated and very poor. Others reason that 'speed of operation' is too important. I still don't understand. Here's what I'd like to see: kill if you must, but do everything in your power to soften the blow.

The other thing that drives me mad is those pet owners, who beat their pets and let them starve. What do these folks (not humans) need a pet for? Just thinking of them lets me down, puts me off and blows my mind.

To tell you the truth, I'm sorry to have seen those vids. I can't clear my mind off of them. Still, they inspired me to write this all and they made me want to do something. Do you feel the same way?
