reports, March 7I'm a tutorial pack rat. There's no resource that fascinates me more: given the option to learn from others' experiences is invaluable to me.
While you can always find my tutorial collections here, I decided to feature some really awesome ones just to show you how incredibly helpful they could be.
And there are so many more!
I love dA. I love the sharing spirit of dA.
Here are some examples of things I learned as of the day I got here:

And there are so many more!
I love dA. I love the sharing spirit of dA.
Here are some examples of things I learned as of the day I got here:
- Emoticons and pixel art: how to make them and how to animate them.
- Photoshop: I learned multiple techniques, little tricks about painting with, photomanipping, digital darkroom techniques and so much more than I could ever list here.
- Photography: I learned SO much about the technical terms, what's good and not, how to edit my images, perspectives, compositions and so much more.
- I learned how to write CSS and how to apply it, enhance it and play with it.
- I learned how to LEARN and to me this is the most amazing thing on dA. I learned how to make the most of this website for my personal development and at the same time give back and help other people develop. dA offers you a plethora of experiences, medias, PEOPLE to teach you. Many of you guys don't even know how big of an inspiration you've been to me but here's a short list of the people who have helped me develop as an artist over time: `memod, *Shyada (aka *ginkgografix ), `kuschelirmel (and her stock account: *kuschelirmel-stock ), `thespook, *crystaleyes909, =joannastar, `miskis and last but definitely not least ~0mri.
The list is so awfully shortened though. My list of inspirations is endless but these are all remarkable people who taught me something, pushed me to do something more than what I already know and keep doing so nowadays.
So make it a mission today; Go and find something you've always wanted to know how works and search for tutorials about it. If there's anything you don't understand/want to know - let me know, maybe I can help.
Teach yourself something new today.
