I met in October 2006. Her artwork attracted me because it was beautifull, portraying every day things and situations, and giving it most personal story. She has this distinct style, motion in her work that would make me always be able to pick out her work from thousands of submissions. She is very strong woman, who knows what she wants to achieve with her artwork and drive the message though:



Frequently she paints herself, usually in situation making viewer uncomfortable, but with strong message. I frequently get overcome by the emotions when I look at it. It is very personal, with emotion expressed to speak louder than words ever could.

Can you please tell me a little bit about yourself?
I am a mother wife and a full time artist. I was born in I srael. and use to work as a make-up artist in TV and movies industry, before I found out about the art world, something that changed my life. I live and work in Eilat- Israel.


What do you enjoy about artwork?
What i enjoy about seeing artwork is if i feel excited by its message, its composition, colors, and if it surprises me, making me think or feel something.

What inspires you?

My inspirations comes from questions, situations, symbols or metaphors from daily life.



Can you name me few inspirational artists on DA and why they are inspiration to you?

Every one and no one are inspiration from me. If i talk to a friend, something in our convarsation might inspire me.

Which are your 5 favourite works of yours and why?

My 5 favorites from my works are;
lighten up I am exploring the concept of beauty and representation of glam. by smoking a cigarette, alludes to the slow self-destruction of the beauty....and i am a smoker!
White linen because its still shoking for me to look at it, even i got use to it.
Silicone babe because its got something to do...a part of my personal life.
In bed with maya the bee - because its my baby.
Party girls - its brings up some nostalgic feelings, and joy.


Which themes do you like exploring with your artwork and why?
I preffer always to paint the women images because i am a woman. and thats the most familiar theme for me.


How do you find yourself as a woman in the artworld?
I am my self dont have a problem with it.


Can you name 5 of your favourite works on DA and tell us whythey are your favourite?
5 favorite work will not be the true...because i can find only the last ones.

its feels like to see 2 images at one; now, and the future. the image in front is calm and relax. above its like to see the boats sinking down in the water...like after storm or destruction.or, maybe its just a dream?

Lets debunk few myths. Which is your favourite colour and why? How do you feel about pink colour especially it being used with everything girl?
Yellow ochere is my favorite color. I mix it in anything.
Y think that the strong color in where i live is effecting me. there for i like this yellow color.
i do like the pink lately in my paintings. but i preffer to add a little brown to it, and then its becomes an smoke pink. I think pink go's great with gray and with black.



What do you think needs to be done so women around the world would be able to stand on equal footing with men? Do you think we are equal? Why do you think when one talks about masters in art there are no women mentioned? What do you believe needs to be done to change this?

To stand on equal footing with men, men need to take care of the babies and the house hold just as much as the women! When one talks about masters in art there are no women mentioned because in the old days women was doing all the house hold and raising the children. As i mention before, only if both will do the same...sharing evrything, then it can be equal.


Who is your favourite woman artist and why?
My mother is my favorite artist! She is the holocaust survivor. She is my inspiration and the essence of my existence! there for she got a big part in my artwork.
