These are the amazing works that the makeup artists managed to produce for the last few weeks. I think you will agree that there are some of them that really are exceptional!
Here is a collection of mostly traditional works that will knock your socks off. There is everything from drawing to monotypes, landscapes to abstraction, enjoy.
They were collected throughout the past couple of weeks in the section for newly submitted deviations, and are mostly traditional drawings. Please show your support for these artists by faving their individual work and also this article so that more people can see it and do the same.
If you are crazed about traditional art, love to mix& match styles or simply feel you need to show to the world the kind of individual that you are, then you just might have found the perfect spot to do it.
Wish Yourself Another World contest (all art forms, including literature, allowed): no deadline yet, judges and (especially) prizes needed! All the help is greatly appreciated.

It's our Birthday! Lowtech-Artists has been going strong for a full three years now, and to celebrate, we'd like to feature some of our members! But first...
.:The Story:. On March 08, 2005, three intrepid friends ~UltraRedRaptor~Hacker10101and ~squeet-chan(now ~mossi-mo) saw how little attention traditional artists were recieving in the community. To combat this they decided to create a club, *lowtech-artists Now three years later, it boasts an active 600 member base, and over 1700 deviations in the gallery. Through thick and thin, Lowtech has been there to showcase the talent of our often overshadowed traditionalists.
.:The Thumbs:. These members were picked at random from our member list. There is a thumb representing an artist from every letter. Remember, the Lowtech categories include Photography and Literature(though no literature deviants came up in the drawing.)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
