During Project Educate we will be bringing you weekly Gallery Segments. We will have a Gallery represent itself for the complete week, educating, entertaining and chatting with you in their chatrooms!

We will be breaking these galleries down into separate Gallery Weeks. There are many facets to Digital Art and I am looking forward to exploring them.

There will be 3 1 hour Themed Art Challenges on Weds. and 3 more on Friday starting at 1 PM EST in #digitalmedia

There will be a theme given to the room and then the deviants have 1 hour to illustrate it digitally, upload it then note one of the ops.

Judges will announce winner and go to round two! Sounds like so much fun!


Did You Know that the Digital Art Galleries are part of Project: Streamline and if you have feedback you should note the appropriate Digital Art Gallery Director?

Did You Know that using two different 3D programs (example: Bryce, Poser) is still 3D and NOT Mixed Media?

Did You Know that artworks created by using various filters to alter a single photograph should be submitted to the Digital Art > Miscellaneous Gallery?

Did You Know that artworks that depict characters from video games such as World of Warcraft or Everquest must be submitted to Fan Art, there are categories within the Fan Art Gallery for digital, traditional, paintings, etc.

Did You Know that Digital Mixed Media is meant to hold deviations that have been created using at least two of the following DIGITAL art forms: Paintings/Drawings/Airbrushing, Photomanipulation, 3-Dimensional, Fractals and Vectors/Vexels?

Did You Know that there is a specific category for animated .gifs that do not fall into another category (such as icons)? Please submit general digital miscellaneous .gif animations to Animations & Games > Digital, you could also submit it to Other Art & Scrapbook > Animation > Digital and it will go to the same place!

Did You Know that digital photographs (taken with a digital camera) are still photography and should be submitted to the proper photography gallery?

This will be going on until August! That way we get to each gallery and cover as much as we can.

Spring Break is during this time and we will be hosting a party then too, as part of Project Educate. It is called Spring Fest, where we will have games, an Egg Hunt, and more fun stuff!

I hope you join us for all of this. We have worked real hard to bring it to you, because Community Matters!
What do we want from you in return?? Your support and participation! We need your help in promoting every little thing. Sport the stamps, pimp the journals, heart the news!! Get naked and swing from a windmill!!

Last week was a delightful week with the Literature Gallery. I learned so much! We gave away many prizes and really just had a great time. I highly recommend that you check out #damnlit
because these people are really great!
