History

Fashion photograpy has been with us since the 19th century. It's first appearance was in French magazines such as La mode practique and Les mode. The first fashion photographer has been credited as Baron Adolphe de Meyer. In 1913, Meyer took the first fashion photographs for Vogue. Bizarre and Life magazines have been noted as one of the first sources of fashion photography also. (more information here - [link] or [link])


So this time I brought together some fabulous fashion portraits, because I've seen more polaroid-mania than fashion portrait features. They're all not in the category of fashion portraits, but it's the way they look, that counts. In fact, finding good male portraits wasn't so easy as finding female portraits. I think that's a shame. Men could be absolutely gorgeous and irresistable too - they need more attention on dA. I hope some of you, who have read this, would give it a try. But yes, here are the portraits. Many of them are unknown. Love them, favorite and comment them - they're worth it.
