reports, 1d 22h agoInfluenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Opportunity for Comic Artists
Awesome Storm Justice 41 is looking for artists to work for variouswebisodes . This project is volunteer only, it's not paid work, however if you are trying to make a portfolio this would be a good opportunity for you to get some practical experience working with someone elses scripts, pencils and inks.
If you are interested you can have a look at the various positions available and contact either ~Dawnsknight or ~Awesomestormjustice (Steve Offenheim) directly.
~Awesomestormjustice is where the complete work will be posted.
There are lots of positions available from inkers, pencilers to digital colourists, so please check it out.

I wanted to give a little highlight to an awesome article put out by =votrereine every so often. It's called "Deviously Published" and it links and shows off work fro deviants who have work thats been published, including comics.
If you havent seen them yet, have a look, and send in some suggestions for future articles.

Our own little *blix-it is in the Rising Stars of Manga Competition put on by Tokyo Pop, that is right now in voting. So if you are interested in this competition you can check out the entries and vote for the peoples choice winner. Check out the new Fella FanclubI know for sure that the comics community has some people who can draw WICKED fanarts of Fella, I know this because of the superhero fella contest I ran a while ago that gave me the comics fella mascot made by *massgrfx
So this new fella contest needs an ID, but before the ID contest can begin, they need some prizes. I'm throwing some deviantART subscriptions in the pot, If you can, please donate some sub time to this new little club or some prizes.
Also, I'd love to see your entries for that contest when it starts!
