Infrared Photography has been around for many years now, but there are still some people that have never seen or heard of it. That is the purpose of this feature. I'm sure IR has been featured before, but since this is my first news article, I thought I'd post about something that I find very unique! IR photography isn't as simple as '

oint and shoot' and you're done. It takes knowledge of several of a camera's manual settings, the correct filters/lenses, photoshop, other programs and more. Yet, with all there is to it, once you learn how...IR can be an addictive and unique way to capture the world around you! Before I feature some great IR photography from around Deviant Art, I'm going to post a few links to get you started learning about IR incase this article inspires you to try it yourself. I also think you should have the opportunity to learn more about how the photographers capture IR images so that you can have a better appreciation for their work. IR captures a surreal world that many of us will never see. The 'suprise' of seeing what you've captured is what makes this so addictive. So, read the links and check out the thumbnails below and see what makes IR so unique! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed my first news article! Send me a comment or note if this interested you! Look for many more coming soon! Your work could be featured next! -Amber
