A Smashing Contest!

Let's not beat about the bush, I know you are all scrambling for some attention, but -- this is quite simply the most eggsellent contest on right now on deviantART. Which is more can be said for the puns I just used!

It's quite simple really. In good olde fashioned pre-interwebz tradition, we want you to decorate a boiled egg to represent a celebrity. For the purposes of this contest, celebrity will be defined as the following;

Someone "well known" from deviantART, e.g. an Admin, or a senior, or a popular community member. (Not your Auntie Babs who signed up last week then disappeared after downloading a wallpaper.)

Someone from the media, e.g. a tv presenter, a movie or tv star.

A cartoon character.


You will need the following;

Hard boiled eggs. As many as you want.

Pens, paints, stuff to stick things on to the eggs with, THINGS! Let your imagination run wild.

A camera. Doesn't have to be a good one, it's not about the photographic skills, it's about the egg. A camphone, or a webcam, or any old cam will do, as long as we can make out the egg clearly.

Once you have decorated, take a pic and submit to the Contests > Celebrity Egg Heads 2008 Category.

The contest will run from Thursday 20th March until Sunday 30th March, midnight UK time. Your judges are;

Prizes for the contest include subscriptions, devwear and prints. We look forward to seeing your entries, get cracking!
