The farm where Hewlett Packard was founded is preserved.
And Richard Nixons house is a museum.
But the house where Superman one of the worlds most recognized heroes was created? Its a wreck.
So, with the creation of The Siegel & Shuster Society, we hope to raise enough money to repair the house and make sure it will be saved, restored, and there so you can take your kids one day.
Jose Cuautemoc "Bill" Melendez started off as an animator for Disney and Warner Bros during the 30s and 40s, and later he moved on to UPA where he produced various commercials.
But he's most well remembered for producing (and sometimes directing) the Peanuts animated specials, where he also provided the voice for both Snoopy and Woodstock.
RIP Mr. Melendez. Your works will never be forgotten.
We all know that a picture can tell a thousand words especially since we are here on possibly the most artisticly influenced website in the world.
However what about the pieces from artists that tell more than simply a thousand words. Hows about a string of images leading you through any kind of story or event whilst leaving you visually stimulated or in fits of unimaginable giggles.
In my bid to find those artists i posted a thread on a forum seeking the mini stories which you will find at the bottom of this feature.
These artists have had to take the time to consider what image to put in which frame. What do the readers need to see to understand the story. Is it understandable or intentionally baffling.
These may seem like tiny insignificant thoughts but when strung together they can produce a story that might just captivate us for life.
Below are small stories from just a few of the inhabitants within this web space. I have posted one thumb from each artist. If you like their work then show them some love.
