Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Director of Artist Relations
Hello!
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. The Gallery Directors are the first people you should go to regarding your galleries. They are the people you need to make gallery suggestions to, and ask questions about your specific genre, or seek knowledge from. They also act as your lifeline to the administration. They are here to support and listen, and I can tell you we've got incredibly talented, devoted and passionate people on this team, so get to know them!

SPACE ART??? That's right deviants - we have new space art galleries located in both Digital and Traditional Art. To submit to them you go to:Drawing & Illustration -> drawing -> space art -> digital or traditional
Painting & Airbrushing -> space art -> digital or traditional
These new galleries will be moderated by ^Nicasus who's pretty familiar with space art
We chose to start with these basic galleries for now but certainly there is room for growth and potential for some cross-ver merging of sci-fi. A one stop resource ^jenepooh wants you - Yes YOU read about it here `hyper-psycho is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis and if you want to learn more check this out! If you're a beta tester read THIS Portfolio testing has begun!! It shouldn't be new news to most of you that deviantART doesn't support mp3 submissions. However, it would appear that some in our community are abusing certain category allowances and have uploaded bad disguised music files into our galleries. These will be removed when they are located, so do us a favor and adhere to the rules and remove them yourself. Thank you. Since resolving the community run "The Touch" contest, I have received several notes about people who have run contests and bailed on them without resolving them. First - let me say that deviantART is not responsible for deviant-run contests and we don't have the resources to resolve them all. However, I will give you advice on how to proceed and how to avoid these situations in the future. If you are someone who runs contests or are thinking of running one - be committed to see it to the end, if you aren't sure - don't run one and most importantly, if you need help please reach out to myself or the gallery directors because that's something we can do. We are all responsible for keeping the community happy and healthy and I expect all of you to do your part. *ItDoesNotHaveMe needs your support! Send in information pertaining to awareness days, weeks etc so we can build up our resources. Thank you Please help out my team by sending your daily deviation suggestions to one person only.
