Alright everyone, welcome to another edition of Mini-DDs! Where we do what we can to showcase some of the truly best DD-worthy artwork! And hey, you're just in time for our Easter celebration!!

...Okay, so our Easter celebration may just consist of one Easter-themed cartoon, but what can I say? We love to celebrate stuff.

Seriously, it does definitely seem like the the majority of this week's features are either colorful, cheerful, magical, etc...Like one giant basket of Easter eggs. Very odd Easter eggs, mind you, but Easter eggs nonetheless. And of course, they all have delicious chocolate centers...

Alright, stepping aside from easter for one moment, I'd like to bring up something concerning the Mini-DDs. Now, for the last few weeks I've been speaking out against FairExposure, how it goes against what the Mini-DDs are about, etc.

But while having a discussion with the very nice ^misskittyoooo (& getting a bit of advice), I realized something: All of that has just just seemed really pessimistic. That it may seem as though I really don't like DA & have nothing to do but complain.

Well, I'm here to reassure all of you that I do indeed love DA & everyone involved with it as much as possible. After all, if I didn't love it, would I keep on doing something crazy like this?

But sometimes I guess we just take this site for granted, & for that I apologize (& for being annoying over the past month or so). So from now on, I will try & use my Mini-DDs to spread around some of the positive stuff going on around here. because it really is a sweet place, & we should all enjoy being here.

..Of course, all of that doesn't mean I won't stop personally hating FairExposure. Hey, you didn't expect me to do a full 180 here, right?

Alright, enough of that malarky, huh? Let's get going with the damn shebang already!

HiPPy by =DNK-Anais...WHOA. This baby contains such an intense amount of lovable craziness that it may be too much to handle! Between the fun & cool character, the wicked, slightly-twisted & unique style, the nice little details, & the general feeling of pure ecstasy & psychedelic joy oozing from every corner of this, what's not to love? DNK certainly has a panache when it comes to drawing dragons, & it certainly shows here!



*missmonster may have already been featured here just over a month ago, but what can I say? She certainly outdid herself this time around with Plum Monster shirt! The shocking colors, the creative monster design, the amazing style, the cool pose & expression...Just plain brilliance all around. If Design By Humans doesn't end up making this into a shirt, then there is something seriously wrong with them.



From Rags to Riches by ~Fiorinox is - To sum it all up in one word - Mesmerizing. Everything from the unique concept to the perfect, semi-dark mood to the nice amount of detail & the way it all just feels so gloriously surreal & out there, how everything just flows together perfectly...Truly one hypnotic & cool piece of work, & definitely one to fave.



One of the first artists I had ever faved here at DA, ~themie has gloriously returned after a long absence...Yet she's apparently ashamed of an oldie but goodie like Little McCloud for some reason. Say what?? How could anyone be ashamed of something so wickedly funny, so damn adorable, so amazingly stylish & well-drawn, & so surprisingly creative? Simple but very lovable, this is something to be proud of, dammit!



Two words immediately spring to mind when looking at Carnival - page2 by ~sexyblue: Charming & magical. And those words apply to every little aspect of this Deviation (& the entire comic in general), from the style to the characters to the colors to the concept to...Well, you get the idea. Truly a lovely piece of work & a sweet story that is not to be missed out on.



- Along came the Eggs - by *LilChu is, simply put, a perfect little cartoon celebrating Easter. Chu's unique & lovable style truly makes for some amazing work, & this is no exception. The sweet character, that cute expression & pose, the nice mix of vibrant colors...There is just simply no way you can't fall in love with something this cool. Seriously, I'm pretty sure it's the law or something.



On its own, Stoplight Demons by *cubecrazy2 is a sweet little painting showcasing a nice style & some lovely little demon designs, & a nice variety of color. But when combined with the story & concept behind it all, it truly becomes something so damn eye-popping, creative, & memorable. Seriously, once you see what went into making this beauty, you won't be able to take your eyes off it. That good, people.



A gloriously twisted & freakish tribute to our Colombian beverage of choice, JavaLux, Blockhead 14 by *rawjawbone is stunning in every area, from the sweet expression to the cool style to the sweet coloring to all the little details right down to the shaky lines. And the whole tiki influence/angle in it all? That is just the cherry on top right there, people. Gotta love it.



Upon first glance, you may think Battery Baby by ~Migdul contains some sort of thought-provoking social commentary due to the concept...Sorry, but instead it's just a plain old ridiculously cool, gloriously random & twisted drawing with creativity smeared all over it & topped off with a sweet style & a nice amount of detail. Well, hopefully you'll still think it kicks ass...
