reports, March 5, 2007Crank. A perfect name for one of the most unadulteratedly fun movies I have seen this year. The plot is fairly simple at face value. Chev (Jason Statham) is a hit man. A bad, bad violent studly old hit man. He awakes to find he has been dosed with a drug that will kill him within an hour unless he keeps his adrenaline up.

Ickle actor replaced by Aussie newcomer.
UK, March 3, 2008 - The role of young Logan in X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been recast after ickle actor Kodi Smit-McPhee dropped out due to scheduling problems.
The film's recent change in shooting schedule meant the production overlapped with Smit-McPhee's other project, the Cormac McCarthy thriller The Road, forcing the scamp to bow out of Wolverine's latest adventure.
According to The Sidney Times, his tiny shoes have been filled by the equally splendidly named Troye Mallet – a 13-year-old Australian thesp/singer, who doesn't have much on his CV except an apparently barnstorming rendition of "Over the Rainbow" on Australian Pop Idol.
Apart from this change, however, we don't think the schedule reshuffle should cause any more production headaches for the film, which is still set for a May 1, 2009 release.
Dominic Monaghan Joins Wolverine
Daniel Henney also signs up to play Agent Zero.
UK, February 22, 2008 - As each day passes, another actor seemingly joins the cast of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Today is no exception, with both Dominic Monaghan – best known for playing Merry in The Lord of the Rings – and Daniel Henny signing up for the superhero spin-off.
According to Variety, Monaghan will play Barnell, (also known as Beak), a mutant with bird-like physiology (in some versions of the comic) and with the power to manipulate energy and electricity.
Henney has taken on the role of Agent Zero, who, along with Logan (later to become Wolverine) is a member of the Weapon X programme, and has a variety of super powers as well as expert marksmen skills.
In recent weeks, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Taylor Kitsch, (Gambit), [link], (Wraith), Danny Huston (Stryker) and Liev Schreiber (Victor Creed) have all joined joined Hugh Jackman in the cast.
