We have a new chatroom! #Artists4Change

This is so exciting to see the group grow. Can you believe we have become a dA group?
I am on holiday this week but as soon as we get back we will throw a party in the chatroom with some prizes. We will get to know each other and throw some ideas around!

I want to encourage you to: please, open your eyes to how you may help. Help anyone. This world, your neighbor, suffering children and abused animals.

For example:

Collect some fine Domestic Animal Art from the deviant community and take them to your local SPCA. Let them hang them and sell prints! All the money helping the SPCA and giving exposure to the artists. You can leave an order form on the counter for mugs etc.

Contact your local Barnes and Noble. They love to display local talent. Grab some wonderful deviantART and display it for sale with the proceeds helping a literary program in your community!

Wonderful art has been created here for AIDS Awareness. It would be lovely to get a ART drive of print donations and get them to an AIDS foundation, especially to shut ins! I think I will for sure do this one for SF AIDS Foundation!

Same with Hospice etc etc. There are so many great ideas and we can spend a life time fulfilling them!

We start with once piece at a time, one person at a time and before you know it we have created a few smiles. That is our reward!

If you suffer from anxiety or depression please reach out to others. There aren't many other ways to get that serotonin flowing through your system like getting out of your bubble of thoughts and into helping the world.

We are still trying to get money into the country of South Africa. Please, we ask you for your best thoughts and prayers.

- Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation started by Paul McCartney and taken over by Ken Vrana. He is searching for artists and logos and also creating a web site to sell artworks. You will hear much more about this in coming weeks.

We are looking for a new logo. An hourglass with a lovely lady straddling it/holding it almost like Atlas holding the world. She is nearly naked holding one breast with one hand and the hourglass with another. This will need to be able to become jewelery, masthead, stamps and the like. Remember to keep it simple yet intricate.

Special Olympics Support Gallery Contest*ChaoticMisfortune This is very exciting for me. My dear dear friend has a son who is participating in the Special Olympics in May. I would like to hold a Support Art exhibit for him and other participants. I will buy him 5x7s of the best pieces (ok probably all) so that he can know how much we here at deviantART support him!
