Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered....In the 1980s Jim Henson took his faithful followers away from The Muppets and the tunnels of Fraggle Rock and began exploring other worlds with other creatures. Lands where red furry beasts walked, dwarfs were gardners, and a Goblin King had fallen in love with a young girl.
Where everything seems possible, and nothing is what it seems The Labyrinth.
Henson fans loved it for the masterful puppetry. Fantasy fans were delighted to see the images of Brian Froud brought to life. David Bowie fans... well, they got split down the middle. One side loved it for his suggestive clothing and crooning voice. The other side thought his song numbers cheesy and shook their heads in shame.
No that's the dead end behind you!Despite the split though, 22 years later this film still has an outrageous cult following. Here is a collection of some of the most intriguing and delicious Labyrinth fanart on DA.

There's some great pieces of work here, and though I've seen most of them there's a few that I've never seen before, and a few that I'll be staring at for hours and hours *coughMercuraliscough*.
Thank you for promoting this movie, having impeccable timing and brightening my Labyrinth day even more

♥ Du bist alles was ich bin, und alles was durch meine adern fließt .xx.
It's been more than 20 years, and the fantasy is still going strong.
The songs were never cheesy, the were simply different than anything he'd done before. And twenty years later, the words still stand up...
are the Bowie fans still fighting over them, sure... but hey there are people still fighting over the Beatles....
As a devote of myths, and lore and the tales that keep us true, I will gladly admit that I was, am and always will be a fan of the Movie, the stories and now the amazing art.
